Aretha Franklin's long-delayed concert film Amazing Grace, which was shot almost 46 years ago, will finally be released.

Franklin's estate and film producers said that Amazing Grace will premiere on November 12 at the DOC NYC film festival. There will be two screenings of the movie at 6:45 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. ET at the SVA Theatre in New York.

The film, which was shot by Sydney Pollack, shows Franklin's performance at the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles' Watts neighborhood in January 1972. The film was not released earlier due to technical and legal issues. Producer Alan Elliott acquired rights to the project in 2007.

"The album sold over 2 million copies and became the jewel in the crown of the queen," a caption reads in the clip. "The album became the best-selling gospel record of all-time. The film has never been seen until now."

"I am thrilled to work with Sabrina Owens and the family to do right by Aretha's legacy," Elliott said in a statement, Rolling Stones reports. "Being able to share this film and the musical genius of Aretha Franklin with her family and the world is an honor. Aretha's fans will be enthralled by every moment of the film as her genius, her devotion to God and her spirit are present in every frame."
