Queen's biopic Bohemian Rhapsody hit worldwide screens nearly three weeks ago and has since grossed $127.9 million. It quickly climbed up the charts of the highest-grossing music biopics and after earning $15 million this week, has now reached second place on the list, passing the 2005 Johnny Cash biopic, Walk the Line.

"Everyone was very, very passionate about this film - cast and crew. So even on the toughest days, we all looked at each other and we knew we'd get each other through," said Gwilym Lee, who plays the role of Brian May in the film.

Straight Outta Compton, which revolves around the controversial story of the gangsta rap group, N.W.A. still holds the No. 1 position on the list, after it grossed a total of $201.6 million in its run at the box office.

Bohemian Rhapsody finished in the third position at the box office this past weekend, preceded only by Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and The Grinch.
