Hip-hop superstar Kendrick Lamar and SZA have been nominated for Best Original Song at the Golden Globe Awards 2019.
Lamar and SZA received the nomination for the platinum-selling single, "All The Stars," which is the second featured song on the Black Panther soundtrack. This is the first Golden Globe nomination for both artists.
Lamar and SZA are competing against Dolly Parton and Linda Perry's "Girl in the Movies," from the movie Dumplin'; Annie Lennox's "Requiem For Private War," from A Private War; Troy Sivan and Jónsi's "Revelation," from Boy Erased; and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's "Shallow," from A Star Is Born.
Black Panther has also earned two additional Golden Globe nominations for Best Motion Picture - Drama and Best Original Score.
Music focused films-- A Star is Born and Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody-- have received five and two nominations, respectively.
