The China stock market has finished higher in two straight sessions, gathering more than 15 points or 0.6 percent along the way. The Shanghai Composite Index now rests just above the 2,600-point plateau and it's tipped to open in the green again on Thursday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is firm on renewed optimism regarding a trade deal between the United States and China. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian markets are tipped to follow suit.

The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions. In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
