The Meat Puppets have released a new song, "Warranty," off their upcoming album, Dusty Notes.

Dusty Notes is scheduled to release on March 8 via Megaforce.

This will be the first new album by the original Meat Puppets lineup of brothers Cris Kirkwood and Curt Kirkwood and drummer Derrick Bostrom in 24 years.

The trio is reportedly planning a tour next year, the dates of which have yet to be announced.

"The band has been a really, really deep font of creativity," Derrick said. "Love it or hate it, hit or miss, Curt is just prodigious. They are still living the rock lifestyle; they're not doing it by half measures. They stayed on the road. These guys are uncompromising. I consider the Meat Puppets to be a national treasure," he added.
