Drake Tops Spotify's List Of Most Popular Workout Songs

Drake's "God's Plan" is the most popular song to workout to according to Spotify users. The music streaming service released the list of its most-listened-to workout songs of 2018 as well as top workout-songs of all time.

"God's Plan," which was released in January 2018, was Spotify's top workout song of 2018, while Cardi B's "I Like It" was second and Eminem's 2002 hit song "Till I Collapse" came in at third. "Nice For What" by Drake and "One Kiss" by Dua Lipa came in at fourth and fifth position, respectively.

Eminem's "Till I Collapse," which also features the late Nate Dogg, was also the top global song of all time for workout, third year in a row. The rapper's Academy Award-winning "Lose Yourself" from the 8 Mile ranks as No. 2 on the all time list.

Kanye West follows with "Stronger" and "Power" at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis round out the top five with 2011's "Can't Hold Us."

"Till I Collapse" also was the top workout tune for men, while Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk" was the favorite for women.

With 43.5 million workout-themed playlists on Spotify, the streaming company checks annually to see which songs are surfacing as the top motivators for its listeners while working out.
