The Hong Kong stock market on Friday snapped the four-day winning streak in which it had advanced more than 410 points or 1.4 percent. The Hang Seng Index now rests just above the 27,930-point plateau and it's expected to remain in that neighborhood again on Monday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets suggests little movement and mild upside following a bump in crude oil prices. The European and U.S. markets were slightly higher and the Asian bourses are expected to follow suit.
