How Does DeskAlert Help Make Money?

DeskAlert sits in your systemtray and waits for news alerts from RTT servers. When there is news on your portfolio of stocks or categories selected by you, then DeskAlert opens to display the news headline in real-time.

RTT Editors deliver ONLY the meaningful stock movements that are considered noteworthy opportunities. These Include;
Widely followed stocks breaking out to the upside.
Stocks setting new highs with significant volume increase.
Stocks declining with significant increase in volume.

Customize DeskAlert
Select News Categories Or Create Portfolio

DeskAlert can be customised to deliver news that is of interest to you. To configure DeskAlert Right clink on the Deskalert icon on your system tray and select settings and option. In this window you can select news categories such as breaking news, earnings, economics, and more.
Display Options

This window also allows you to configure how the headline alert. you can may choose to display the time of the alert by checking display time. Similarly, you may also choose to display the ticker symbol along with the headline by selecting display symbol. You can also set the length of time the alert window stays open on your monitor.
View Alert History

DeskAlert is designed to help you stay connected with the information that matters to you mthe most. Even when you are away DeakAlert is at work monitoring news of your interest.

If you were away from your PC and when you return in seconds you can read all the news that matter to you. Left click on the DeskAlert icon on your system tray to view all the headlines meet your criteria.
Determine The Right Width For Your Monitor

DeskAlert alert display window can also be configured to fit your screen size. DeskAlert comes with 4 display width options. Default window display window size is 300 pixels to accommodate smaller monitors. You may choose from 300, 400, 500, or 600 pixels.
Auto Close Option

DeskAlert provides an option to turn off alerts for specified period of time. there are 3 intervals to choose from. You may choose to turn off DeskAlert for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour.

Audio Alerts

You can also choose a particular sound to be associated when you recive an alert .You can also choose from 50 diffrent sounds.

Creating Portfolio

RTT DeskAlert can be customized to monitor news and information that can impact individual stocks, your portfolio and the markets.

Right click on DeskAlert on your systemtray and select Manage Portfolio, In this window you can enter a list of symbols to be monitored for real-time alerts.

Alternatively, you can import your portfolio from another application or from a file by ciking on import symbols list.

RTT DeskAlert comes with widely followed indices such as Dow, Nasdaq, S&P 100, S&P 500, and some other popular indices as part of the portfolio. You may use choose one or more indices from this list to receive news that can move the markets.
