Littelfuse Inc. (LFUS) increased its third quarter EPS forecast to between $0.27 and $0.32 Wednesday morning, from prior expectations of $0.14 to $0.21. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $0.18. The company also raised its revenue forecast for the quarter to between $113 million and $116 million.
Littelfuse Inc. gapped open sharply higher Wednesday and rose further around the middle of the morning. Shares closed higher by $3.70 at $28.19 on above average volume. The stock broke out of a 2-month trading range and set an 11 1/2 month high.
