Albany International Corp. (AIN) reported a third quarter net loss of $0.20 after the bell Monday, which included net charges for special items of $0.51 per share. Albany International climbed throughout the first 2 hours of Tuesday's session and took out the highs of the day going into the close. Shares finished up by $4.57 at $20.96 on strong volume. The stock rose past resistance and set a new high for the year.
