Ctrip.com International (CTRP) reported third quarter earnings of $0.44 per ADS after the bell Wednesday, which came in above the consensus estimate of $0.32. Ctrip.com International gapped open sharply higher Thursday, but traded in a range for the bulk of the session. Shares finished up by $4.73 at $69.02 on the highest volume in 5 months. The stock has been rising for the last week and a half and closed at a new high for the year.
