American Public Education (APEI) steadily declined until around mid-afternoon Tuesday. The stock recovered some ground in the final 90 minutes of trade, but finished down by 6.75 at $31.01, on the highest volume of the year.
American Public Education dropped below a 2-month trading range Tuesday and closed at an 11-month low.
