America's Car-Mart (CRMT) reported fourth quarter net income of $0.43 per share Tuesday morning, down from the $0.51 per share posted last year. The consensus estimate was for earnings of $0.38 per share. America's Car-Mart gapped open higher Tuesday and posted gains in early trade. Shares advanced further in the early portion of the afternoon and finished up by $2.02 at $19.68 on the highest volume in over 7 months. The stock broke out of a 2 1/2 week range and closed at a 9-month high.
