DeVry University, a division of DeVry Inc. (DV) said it appointed David Stewart president of Seattle Metro, which includes DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management locations in Federal Way and Bellevue, Washington and Portland, Oregon.
Stewart replaces Reed Hackett, who has assumed the role of chief academic officer for the Seattle Metro after a seven-year term as president.
In his new position, Stewart will be responsible for hiring the most qualified faculty and supervising all of the Seattle Metro employees to ensure student success.
Stewart joined DeVry University in 2005 as an undergraduate and graduate admissions advisor. Most recently, he held the position of center dean at DeVry University's Bellevue location.
