Celanese Corp. (CE) announced that it would increase the price of all acrylic-based emulsions in North America effective September 15, or as contracts allow.
Pure acrylic emulsions will increase by $0.06 per wet lb. and vinyl-acrylic emulsions by $0.02 per wet lb. The increase affects all applications including, adhesives, paint & coatings, paper, nonwovens and textiles.
