Total SA Says 2009 Capex Within Budget Of $18 Bln - Quick Facts

Total SA (TOT) announced that 2009 capital expenditure is within budget of $18 billion. Cash flow for 2010 is benefiting from start-ups and cost reduction.

Total said that as of on June 30, 2009, it had $20 billion of cash. The company also said it has ample flexibility to manage its net debt. Cash breakeven was around $60 a barrel of oil equivalent in the first half of 2009. The company reported Ongoing Sanofi divestment of $1.4 billion in the first half of 2009.

The company announced a 2009 interim dividend of EUR 1.14 per share.
