Partner Communications Company Ltd. (PTNR), an Israeli mobile communications operator, announced that its offer for the acquisition of 100% of the issued and outstanding share capital of MIRS Communications Ltd. and/or MIRS operations from Motorola Israel Ltd. will not be proceeding and discussions have been terminated.
On September 21, 2009, Partner Communications said that it submitted an offer for the acquisition of 100% of the issued and outstanding share capital of MIRS Communications Ltd. and/or MIRS operations from Motorola Israel Ltd.
MIRS is a cellular company which operates in Israel using the iDEN technology and whose market share is estimated at 4% to 5%.
