99 Cents Only Stores Q2 Same-Store Sales Increase 2.3% - Quick Facts

Thursday, 99 Cents Only Stores (NDN) reported second-quarter overall same-store sales increased 2.3%, with the number of same-store sales transactions increasing 3.5% and the average transaction size decreasing 1.2% - $9.45. Same-store sales for the six month period, increased 4.7% compared to the same period in the prior year.

For the second-quarter, the company's total sales were $324.7 million , up 2.2% from $317.8 million in the same quarter last year. On average, 10 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report revenue of $326.36 million. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
