SunTrust Banks, Inc. (STI) announced the appointment of Willem-Jan Hattink as executive vice president and head of private wealth management and institutional investment solutions business, succeeding Jenner Wood, III who had been serving in this role on an interim basis.
In his new role, Hattink has oversight responsibility for private wealth management including International Wealth Management, the Sports and Entertainment Banking Group, Personal Asset Management and SunTrust Investment Services.
The company has also appointed Jarrette White, III as executive vice president and private wealth management line of business executive for SunTrust's Central Group, succeeding Hattink. In his new role, White will lead sales and service efforts and the overall execution of Private Wealth Management business strategies in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama.
