Canadian Solar Inc. (CSIQ) announced that it has priced the sale of 6.0 million shares of its common stock at $15.75 per share. The company said it has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 900,000 shares of common stock.
Canadian Solar said it plans to use this offering net proceeds for general corporate purposes. The company expects to invest the net proceeds in short-term interest-bearing securities or bank deposits, pending application of the funds.
