LG Electronics (LGERF.PK) reported third quarter net profit of 807 billion won, up from 25 billion won a year earlier.
On a parent basis, Recurring profit surged to 1.03 trillion won from 34 billion won in the year-ago quarter.
On a parent basis, operating profit rose to 603 billion won from 338 billion won in the prior year.
Sales on a global basis, including LG's overseas subsidiaries, rose 15.7% to 13.9 trillion won from 12.01 trillion won in the prior year.
