Tuesday, Akzo Nobel (AKZOY,AKZOY.PK) said its third-quarter net income rose 30% to EUR 197 million from EUR 152 million in the prior year period.
Third-quarter revenue decreased 10% to EUR 3.63 billion from EUR 4.04 billion in the year-ago period.
The company said it remains committed to improving operational efficiency through further restructuring and cost control and to achieving its medium-term target of an EBITDA margin of 14% by the end of 2011.
