Portland General Electric Posts Q3 Net Income Of $32 Mln; Backs FY09 EPS View - Quick Facts

Thursday, Portland General Electric Co. (POR) reported third-quarter net income attributable to the company of $32 million or $0.43 per share compared to nil results for last year. On average, 7 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.23 per share for the quarter.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $445 million from $400 million in the comparable period. Three analysts estimated revenues of $410.20 million for the quarter.

Looking ahead to fiscal 2009, PGE reaffirmed earnings guidance in the range of $1.35 - $1.45 per share. The company expects 2010 earnings per share ranging between $1.50 and $1.65. Eight analysts estimate earnings of $1.40 per share for fiscal 2009 and five analysts estimate earnings of $1.75 per share for 2010.
