Wednesday, inVentiv Health (VTIV) announced the resignation of Terrell Herring as president and chief operating officer, effective December 31, 2009, and join Mission Pharmacal, a growing Texas-based manufacturer of prescription drug products and nutritionals, as President of its Pharmaceutical division.
Herring joined inVentiv Health in 1999 as a National Business Director and, after several promotions, he went on to lead the company's largest division, inVentiv Commercial, as President and CEO. In 2006, he was appointed to inVentiv Health's Board of Directors, and was named President and COO of inVentiv Health in 2008.
Herring will transition to his new role at Mission Pharmacal in January 2010. Herring will continue in his position as a Director on its Board of Directors.
