CVS Caremark Corp. Has Gapped Open Sharply Lower After Q3 Report

CVS Caremark Corp. (CVS) reported third quarter EPS of $0.76 Thursday morning, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.64. The company now expects to report full year 2009 EPS between $2.61 and $2.64, compared to prior expectations of $2.59 to $2.64. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $2.62.

CVS Caremark gapped open sharply lower Thursday and is now down 7.77 at $28.38. The stock has dropped to a 7-month low and has fallen below its 200-day moving average.
