Brazil-based GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. (GOL), on Friday reported its preliminary traffic figures for October 2009.
System traffic for the month of October was $2.485 billion Revenue passenger kilometers, or RPKs, up 38.9% from 1.790 billion RPKs in October 2008. System Load factor for the month was 71.9%, up 15.1 percent points from 56.8% in the same period last year. System available seat kilometers, or ASK for the month increased 9.6% to $3.455 billion from $3.151 million in the prior year period.
