Monday, Ducommun Inc. (DCO) appointed Anthony Reardon to the additional position of chief executive officer as well as a member of the board, effective January 1, 2010. Reardon will succeed Joseph Berenato, who will retain his position as chairman. Reardon is currently president and chief operating officer of the company.
Reardon was named president and chief operating officer of Ducommun in January 2008. From January 2003 to December 2007, he was president of Ducommun AeroStructures, Ducommun's largest subsidiary. Prior to joining Ducommun, he had over 25 years of experience in roles of increasing roles of responsibility in areas of manufacturing, engineering, marketing and general management, starting with Sundstrand Aviation in Rockford, Illinois.
