SkyWest Inc. (SKYW) reported that its October traffic increased 9.3% to 1.5 billion revenue passenger miles or RPMs from 1.4 billion RPMs in the year-ago month.
Capacity grew 8.3% to 1.9 billion available seat miles or ASMs from 1.7 billion ASMs in the prior year month.
Load factor improved by 0.7 points year-over-year to 80.3% from 79.6%.
Passenger boardings for October totaled 2.98 million, a 9.5% increase from October 2008.
