Hyatt Hotels Corp. (H) announced the closing of its initial public offering of 43.70 million shares of Class A common stock at $25 per share. Selling stockholders sold 38 million shares of Class A common stock, and Hyatt sold 5.70 million shares of Class A common stock, pursuant to the full exercise of the underwriters' option to buy additional shares.
Hyatt said it received net proceeds of about $127.3 million from the sale of its shares, after deducting the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses. The company plans to use this offering net proceeds primarily for working capital and other general corporate purposes.
