Atmos Energy Promotes Kenneth Malter To VP, Gas Supply And Services - Quick Facts

Thursday, Atmos Energy Corp. (ATO) promoted Kenneth Malter to the position of vice president of gas supply and services. Malter succeeds Mark Bergeron, who previously was named president of Atmos Energy Holdings Inc.

Malter has more than 20 years of experience in the natural gas industry. He has worked as Atmos Energy's director of gas supply and services in New Orleans since 2007. He joined a predecessor to Atmos Energy's Louisiana Division, Louisiana Gas Service, in 1998 as manager of contract administration.

Atmos Energy Corp. engages in the distribution, transmission, and storage of natural gas in the United States. The company distributes natural gas to approximately 3.2 million residential, commercial, public authority, and industrial customers located in Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and Virginia.
