Walt Disney Co. (DIS) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.46 after the bell Thursday, up from the $0.44 in the prior year period. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.41. Walt Disney gapped up at the open Friday and rose during the first hour of trade. Shares finished up by $1.39 at $30.44 on the highest volume in 2 1/2 months. The stock climbed above a 2-month range and set a new high for the year.
