AmerisourceBergen Corp. (ABC) announced that it priced $400 million aggregate principal amount of its 4.875% Senior Notes due November 15, 2019 in an underwritten registered public offering. The company expects the offering to close on November 19, 2009.
AmerisourceBergen intends to use approximately $221.9 million of the net proceeds from the offering to repay substantially all the amounts outstanding under its multi-currency revolving credit facility. The company said it will use the remainder of the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
