Isis Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ISIS) and Genzyme (GENZ) announced data from the phase 3 study of mipomersen Tuesday morning, in patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. The study met its primary endpoint and also met each of its secondary endpoints.
Isis Pharmaceuticals has been steadily declining since the open Tuesday and is now down 1.58 at $11.82, with volume at nearly a 6-month high. The stock has dropped below a one-month range and has set over an 8-month low.
