Goodrich Corp. (GR) said that it has been selected by Korea's Asiana Airlines to provide landing gear maintenance services for its fleet of Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. The agreement encompasses all scheduled repair and overhaul services, including use of Goodrich-managed rotable landing gear assets.
In September 2009, Goodrich announced that its Landing Gear business had signed an agreement with a major airline in which Goodrich would use the airline's rotable landing gear as exchange units for other airlines that purchase landing gear overhaul services. Those rotable assets will be used by Goodrich to fulfill its overhaul service commitments to Asiana.
