FOX Business Network, a unit of News Corp. (NWS,NWSA), said that it has secured an agreement with Cablevision Systems Corp., expanding its distribution across Cablevision's subscriber footprint.
Beginning November 19, FBN will be available to Cablevision subscribers on channel 106 through the cable provider's Optimum-branded communications system.
The launch will expand FBN's presence in the surrounding New York City metro area, throughout Long Island as well as Westchester, Fairfield and Bergen Counties.
