Joan Jett recently told MTV News that Kristen Stewart does all her own singing for her role as the "I Love Rock N' Roll" singer in the upcoming film, The Runaways.
"She's singing. She's definitely doing the singing, yeah," Jett said. "And during the filming, she was playing guitar."
"We went through it," she added. "I showed her the positions that I play — because some guitar players will use different hand positions on the boards — so I showed her how I played it, and she picked it up really well."
Jett herself will not be appearing in the film - which is based on the all-girl '70s punk band she was in before her solo career took off - because she "didn't want to."
The singer indicated The Runaways is hoping to see a premiere in January.
