The latest single from Vampire Weekend's forthcoming album has has made its way online.
The video for the new single was directed by Hammer & Tongs, who previously lent their skills to music videos for Blur's "Coffee & TV" and Supergrass's "Pumping on Your Stereo."
"Cousins" will appear on Vampire Weekend's sophomore album, Contra, which is set to be released through XL Recordings on January 11 in the U.K. and January 12 in the U.S.
The new single is not the first track to be released off of the upcoming album. Last month, "Horchata" also appeared online.
Contra is the follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which has gone gold in the U.K. It also garnered the number one spot on the U.K. Indie charts and has sold more than 450,000 copies in the U.S.
