Max Capital Group Ltd. (MXGL) said it appointed David Kalainoff as President of Reinsurance Operations. Kalainoff joined Max in 2003, most recently serving as Managing Director Reinsurance and Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer, Casualty Reinsurance of Max Bermuda. Prior to joining Transatlantic in 1996, he held management positions at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company and Continental Insurance Company.
