Brocade Communications Systems Inc. (BRCD) reported GAAP net income of $33.6 million or $0.07 per share for the fourth quarter, compared to $35.6 million or $0.09 per share in the prior year quarter.
Non-GAAP net income was $73.4 million or $0.15 per share, compared to $75.8 million or $0.20 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Brocade's quarterly revenues increased 31% year-over-year to $521.8 million from $398.5 million.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.13 per share on revenue of $521.09 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
