Agilysys Reveals Strategic Partnership With Beatty And Company Computing - Quick Facts

Tuesday, Agilysys Inc. (AGYS) announced a strategic partnership with Beatty and Company Computing Inc. The agreement enables Agilysys to add Beatty and company's Beacen vSeries software. This software provides carrier grade desktop virtualization, to the already extensive Agilysys list of technology solutions and to create custom solutions which utilize the Beacen vSeries software.

The company noted that, as an Authorized BEACEN Reseller, Agilysys will now be able to offer its customers and prospects the Beacen vSeries software, which is aimed at helping businesses maximize productivity and minimize administration overhead in data-intensive environments, such as call centers. Key components of the Beacen vSeries include Beacen vStation, focused on reducing the amount of required administration; Beacen vDirector, which provides a performance and metric-based session load balancer that supports multiple session types, operating environments and application groups; and Beacen vServer, an enterprise session management infrastructure.

In addition to providing the Beacen vSeries software, Agilysys can now offer its customers the vContact Center Solution, a custom solution comprised of Agilysys integration and professional services capabilities, hardware and Beatty and Company's Beacen vSeries software.

Agilysys Inc., together with its subsidiaries, provides information technology solutions to corporate and public-sector customers primarily in North America. The company operates in three segments: Hospitality Solutions Group, Retail Solutions Group and Technology Solutions Group.
