Herbert Abramson, a director of Lorus Therapeutics Inc. (LOR.TO) announced that he has acquired 17 million units, consisting of 17 million common shares and warrants exercisable into 8.5 million common shares of Lorus.
Upon completion of acquisition, Abramson owns about 42.83 million shares of Lorus, representing about 14.4% of outstanding common shares of Lorus. In addition, Abramson owns 300,000 stock options and 17.5 million warrants of Lorus.
If Abramson were to exercise all of the options and warrants, he would own about 60.62 million shares, representing about 19.2% of the then issued and outstanding common shares of Lorus.
