Guns N' Roses have announced that they will tour South America in 2010. The exact cities and dates have not been revealed, but the band's website indicates that the South American leg of trek will last from March 10 to April 10.
Guns N' Roses are touring behind their 2008 release Chinese Democracy. The record was a hit overseas, debuting at number one on the charts in thirteen countries including Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Finland, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand.
The band is currently touring Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Following that leg of the tour, there will be a sting of Canadian dates, starting on January 13 in Winnipeg.
Guns N' Roses now features founder Axl Rose, along with guitarists DJ Ashba, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and Richard Fortus. The band also includes keyboardist Dizzy Reed, bassist Tommy Stinson, multi-instrumentalist Chris Pitman and drummer Frank Ferrer.
