China Yuchai International (CYD) rose sharply during the first half hour of trade Monday. The stock climbed further late in the afternoon and finished up by $1.82 at $16.65 on the highest volume of the year. China Yuchai International climbed above a 2 1/2 week trading range Monday and closed at a new high for the year.
