Broadwind Energy (BWEN) announced that effective Nov. 30, 2009, Paul Seppanen has been appointed to lead Broadwind's efforts to provide innovative technical services and precision repair and engineering services for wind energy customers across North America.
Seppanen serves as president of Broadwind's Energy Maintenance Service or EMS subsidiary, the company said.
The company stated that Seppanen had most recently served as vice president of project and business development for wind and solar projects at Fagen Incorporated, and focused on renewable energy, power and industrial markets. Prior to this, he held executive roles of increasing responsibility within product divisions of BOC Edwards and earlier in his career at Kinetics Group.
