CBS has announced that the Joe Perry Project will appear live on the Late Show with David Letterman on Friday.

The legendary Aerosmith guitarist will play tracks from his band's new album, Have Guitar, Will Travel, which hit stores on October 6. Perry and company recorded the album's 10 songs in his private studio, The Boneyard.

Perry enlisted both veterans and newcomers for the album. It features longtime Perry collaborator David Hull on bass and German upstart Hagen Grohe on vocals. Grohe was actually discovered on YouTube by Perry's wife and allegedly thought it was a joke when the guitarist reached out to him.

The grouped nailed all the tracks "within a few takes," Perry said.

The Have Guitar, Will Travel tracklisting is below.

1. "We've Got a Long Way to Go"

2. "Slingshot"

3. "Do You Wonder"

4. "Somebody's Gonna Get (Their Head Kicked in Tonite)"

5. "Heaven and Hell"

6. "No Surprise"

7. "Wooden Ships"

8. "Oh Lord (21 Grams)"

9. "Scare the Cat"

10. "Freedom"
