Alexco Resource Reveals Executive Appointments - Quick Facts

Alexco Resource Corp. (AXU,AXR.TO) said it appointed Thomas Fudge as Vice President Development and Engineering and that he would have overall responsibility for the construction management and commissioning of the Bellekeno mine and mill facilities. Fudge was previously employed by Hecla Mining Company both as Vice President of Operations and President of Hecla's Venezuelan subsidiaries, and more recently as President and chief executive officer of SNS Silver Corp. Tim Hall would assume the position of General Manager Keno Hill Mine Operations. Hall would have responsibility for all aspects of district wide mine and mill operations. Hall was previously employed by Rio Tinto in the position of Mine Manager and Operations Manager for over 7 years at the Greens Creek Mine located on Admiralty Island Alaska.

Further, the company said that Rob McIntyre has accepted the position of Vice President Corporate Affairs and Communication. McIntyre would continue to be responsible for the overall permitting of mine development activities across the Keno Hill Silver District as well as corporate investor relations, communication and corporate and government relations.
