Millipore Corp. (MIL) announced that Robert Langer has been elected to its Board of Directors. Daniel Bellus, a Millipore director since 2000, will retire from the Board on March 8, 2010.
Langer is the David H. Koch Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Langer joins Millipore's Board as a member of the Governance and Public Policy Committee and the Technology Committee.
