Squelching rumors that have been swirling this week, a representative for Jennifer Hudson says the star is not pregnant.
"Contrary to what has been falsely reported, Jennifer Hudson is not pregnant," People magazine quoted rep Lisa Kasteler as saying. "Jennifer is currently in the studio recording her second album and this is the only delivery she is looking forward to in 2010."
Hudson, who gave birth to her first child, David, this past August, is off to South Africa to film her new movie, Winnie. In it, Hudson will portray Winnie Mandela, wife of South African leader Nelson Mandela.
"Jennifer leaves in April for South Africa - it is a commitment she is excited about and takes very seriously" added Kasteler.
Hudson's new movie will see a release sometime next year.
