British Pound Climbs To 5-day High Against US Dollar

The British pound gained ground in early Asian deals on Tuesday after hitting a low of 1.5999 against the US dollar at 9:25 pm ET. The pound-dollar pair thus climbed to a 5-day high of 1.6020 at 1:45 am ET with 1.616 seen as the next target level. The pair closed Monday's North American session at 1.6003.
