The S&P/Case-Shiller home price index will be released at 9:00 am ET. Economists expect a 7.30% year-over-year decline in the 20-city composite house price index for October following a 9.36% drop in the previous month.
The US dollar held steady against its major rivals ahead of the report. Currently, the greenback is quoted at 1.444 against the euro, 1.0306 versus the Swiss franc, 91.8 against the yen and 1.601 per pound.
